Problem Solving :

Solution 1: Using the Multi-door Controller DI Fire Linkage (AR-721E-V2/AR-716E) Construction method:

The multi-door access control controllers from SOYAL (AR-721E-V2 and AR-716E) both have built-in fire linkage input points. Simply connect the fire alarm transfer point (dry contact) of the trusted mainframe to the linkage input point of the multi-door controller. When the fire alarm is triggered, all door access controlled by the multi-door controller will immediately release the door lock, and the door access will return to normal control mode when the alarm signal is restored.

※ The door opening button must be in effect to prevent theft when there is no need to open the door.

Note: When using the fire alarm linkage release door lock function, the controller must also enable the fire alarm linkage function to immediately release the door lock. The settings are as follows:

Home version (H series) controller:

Enter edit mode and enter the keypad command 20*020#.

Enterprise version (E series) controller:

Enter the HTTP server setting page of the enterprise version (E series) controller by entering the IP address in the browser address bar (default IP value: 192.168.1.127).

Click on the left menu to enter Network Setting. Choose the sending source for Secondary DNS Server: Accept a single fire alarm source: Enter the UDP fire alarm source IP address. Accept all fire alarm sources: Enter 0.0.0.0.

Solution 2: Creating the fire linkage release control function for the SOYAL access control system using the I/O network converter (AR-727CM-IO) built-in fire linkage input.

Construction method: If there is no multiple door controller available, the fire linkage input (DI0) built into the AR-727CM-IO I/O network converter can be used. Simply connect the fire alarm input point (dry contact) of the authorized master to the DI0 of the AR-727CM-IO, and log in to the AR-727CM-IO with an IE browser to enable the "Fire Alarm (DI0) Open Doors" function to complete the setup. Afterward, when the fire alarm is triggered, all door access controllers connected to this network converter will immediately release the door lock. The door access will resume normal control mode once the alarm signal is restored.

※AR-727CM-IO Wiring diagram and linkage setting method:

Note: The AR-727CM-IO can specify which door access controllers need to release the door lock during a fire alarm, and which ones need to continue to be controlled. This is done by individually entering the designated door station numbers into the corresponding fields. If 255 is entered, all doors will be opened.
