Questions : How to solve the issue that LCD screen font of E series controller has become garbled?
Problem Solving :
As the below picture, the font of screen on E Series Controller has become garbled.
The reasons below may cause the garbled font issue:
1. Updating the user data or relevant parameter via 701ClientSQL but LAN Base on 701Server had wrong selected.
*4.4 version and after had been added mistake-proofing function to prevent relevant issue.
2. Incorrect command has been sent to controller via Commview.
3. Firmware of controller had been updated incorrectly.
Solution1. Update the font
Step1. Search and execute UdpUpdater
Step2. Select Sub IP Range and input specified IP address, pressing “Load Font”, and select the file of “B5LCDFONT.LF16”

Step4. Press “Update Font”
Step5. Restart the controller
Solution2. Update the controller firmware directly
The font is also contained in controller firmware data, so that it is available to update by firmware updating.
