Questions : How to disable/reduce beeping sound on AR-881EF & AR-331EF & AR-725EV2?
Problem Solving :
1. When you find the egress beeping too loud or annoying, you may turn it off by the command 24*U*DDD#.
“U” for device, “0” for AR-881EF & AR-331EF & AR-725EV2; “1” for WG reader
“DDD”=”0” for disable; “DDD”=”001” for enable.
2. To disable beeping sound on WG reader, you may disconnect the pink wire for beeper output 5V/100mA, Low on the controller.
3. If you don’t want to disable the beeping sound, just want to make it not so loud, you may cover the beeper with a sticker.
