Questions : How to make tamper switch can send message to 701Client?
Problem Solving :
The wiring below: we usually connect external alarm with tamper switch. When people try to open the casing of reader, it will trigger the alarm. However, it won’t have any message show on 701Client.
※If you want to make it to show alarm message when people trigger the tamper switch, you can use door contact to send the alarm message.
Instruction:
1. The Wiring of Door Contact and Tamper Switch to share one Alarm Output as below:
※When there is force open or controller’s housing is open, 701Client will show “Force Entrance” message. However, it could not indicate the specific event: controller’s housing is open or the door lock is broken.
2.The Wiring of Door Contact and Tamper Switch as below:
※When the controller’s housing is open, 701Client will show “Force Entrance”, which means the controller’s housing is open.
