Questions : 723-H*2 + 1*721RB + 1*EM lock. The controller can open the door for a while and then stop working. Why?
Problem Solving :
2*723H + 1*721RB + 1*EM lock
In this structure, the 723H works fine for a while and then will have two states as below:
- When you present valid card on 723H, the 821RB will light up but the door didn’t open
- When you present valid card on 723H, the 821RB didn’t light up.
The reason is when you connect two 723H with one 721RB, the digital signal will interrupt each other and cause the function abnormal.
There are two ways to solve this problem:
A: Please refer to the below diagram
To connect one 723H lock relay wire with CTL of 721RB
To connect the other 723H lock relay wire with PB of 721RB
This kind of connection can separate the signal to prevent two digital signals to interrupt each other.
Remember to input 34*064# for the one which connect to CTL of 721R and input 34*000# for the one which connect to PB of 721RB
B: To use 821RB, the normal signal will not affect each other.
Remember to disable the 721RB digital signal by external keypad.
Enter programming mode *123456# and then input 34*000# for each 723-H
