Questions : How to Commview to Change PIN & Card UID Length for 725E-V2?

Problem Solving :

The default PIN Digit and Card UID 725E-V2 Support is 4. 

We could use Commview to change the parameter 725E-V2 so that it could support the different the lengh of PIN and UID from 4 to 8.

Send Command to 725E-V2 by Commview

1. Select Com Port Number.
2. Select Node ID of 725E-V2
3. Command 20 08 00 00 00 00 XY

XY value meaning:

X value: Card UID length, the Range we could set is 4~8. The default value is 4.

Y value: PIN digit length, the Range we could set is 4~8. The default value is 4.

The below example: we put the value 84, 8 mean we change the user PIN digits from default 4 to 8.

4. Click Send to write the parameters to 725E-V2.

If the echo code is 04 , that mean you have succeeded.

Edit PIN code via 701Client

After change 725E-V2 parameter, we could use 701client to edit PIN code and write to 725E-V2.

For example, we input 8 digit PIN code 12345678 for User 1. Then the user 1 can press 12345678 on the keyboard of 725E-V2 to get access
