Questions : Which User Access Mode is supported when connect two EV5 Series Controllers in Master and Slave Mode for entry and exit?
Problem Solving :
EV5 Series Controller can work as both Master Mode and Slave Mode (WG Output Mode)
When connect two EV5 Series Controllers in Master and WG Mode for entry and exit, the valuable User Access Mode is as listed in the following chart.
We change EV5 Series Controller as Slave to connect with Master but it is not full same features as normal WG reader. If you would use Pin code on Slave controller, please set both Master and Slave to work on M4 mode, M8 don’t support Pin access on Slaver controller
Red X means the mode doesn’t work.
The first row with one Rex X ： Pin could not work on M8 Mode/ Slave Controller.
The Second row with three Rex X ：If you would use fingerprint and Pin to access, both Master and Slave on M4 mode don’t work and Slave on M8 Mode as well, only the Master on M8 Mode supports the access by FP and PIN.
