Introduction :
This FAQ will provide the solution of parameter saving issue of 701ServerSQL, and will introduce the procedure of installation data clearance.
Solution 1. Correctly save COM setting
It is required to select “Save Current Area” before pressing “YES”
Solution 2. Delete installation data of 701softwares completely
Key Point 1.Uninstall the software completely.
Key Point 2.Delete the 701Server/701Client folders in regedit (Registry Editor).
Key Point 3.Delete the 701Server/701Client folders from the system drive (C:).
Sometimes the data saving issue will occur while updating old version of 701 software (e.g. 10.5 > 9.02), COM/LAN parameter setting will be reset to default value. The solution is delete installation data of 701software and re-install them again.
Procedure of deleting 701ServerSQL/701ClientSQL relevant installation data:
*Backup procedure > Backup and Restore 701ServerSQL and 701ClientSQL
Step1. Close 701ServerSQL/701ClientSQL
Step2. Uninstall 701ServerSQL/701ClientSQL in Windows Setting
Step3. Search “Regedit” application
Step4. Find the path of SOYAL
PC\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\SOYAL
Step5. Directly delete 701Server/701Client files, or delete SOYAL file.
Step6. Delete the files of 701Server/701Client in Disk C, copy the files if required.
Step7. Re-install 701ServerSQL/701ClientSQL .EXE
