Comparison and Selection of AR-321-CM different Chip version and Driver versions
In Recent, we received some inquiries from our customers. When they purchasing a new USB converter AR-321-CM to use in win10 or win11, the system remind that the driver version doesn’t support and should install corresponding driver; the customer think the product is defective and then send it back to SOYAL for repair. Since the USB chip of PL2303 we use upgrades, the different chip has the corresponding driver version. Please read the following comparison table and choose the correct driver for your product version.

| Go to Control Panel → Device Manager | Important: required to unplug all of AR-321CM devices from computer’s USB Port in the first hand |

Select Ports (COM & LPT) à select “USB-to-Serial Comm Port”, right click à select “Uninstall device” |

- When auto-simulated USB COM port number is more than 20, it must change number less than 20 ; Moreover, the computer must be restarted after changing the number.
