Questions :How to utilize door group function to restrict access of specified doors during national holidays?

Introduction :

It is recommended to set up door group for management when using access controllers under complicated configuration, especially in commercial building and community. The operator could easily set each door group’s access doors via tick on/off on the list, then all the users within that group will be unavailable to get access from specific doors.

Introduction of door group setting > 701ClientSQL Manual page 4-2-7

Solution:

Example- Community has A/B/C buildings and public spaces, all users could get access from their own building and public spaces, in this example we suppose the recycle area will be unavailable to access during national holiday.

(1)Building A

1.Group:001

2.Link:004

3.Level:00 (Capable of setting level if required.)

(2)Building B

1.Group: 002

2.Link: 004

3.Level: 00

(3)Building C

1.Group: 003

2.Link: 004

3.Level: 00

(4)Public Area

1.Group: 004

2.Link: END

3.Level: 00

(5) Operator could easily cancel the access authoriztion of door 11-Public Lift by ticking off the option.

(6) Update the modification via updating “User Card” or “Door Group”

*H series controller is required to update door group data by pressing “Door Group”.

*E/V5 series controller is required to update door group data by pressing “User Card”, hence the door group data will be saved with card data.

(7) Operator could modify the access authority by ticking on the door option after national holiday has over, and update the door group data following (6) to renew the door group data.
