1.Introduction

This FAQ will focus on the parameter setting of Flexible Working Hours, the system will calculate and postpone the working hours after setting duty hours as well as flexible working hours, the staff required to postpone off-duty time and extra work hours when he was not being on time.

2. Flexible Working Hours Issues

Question1. How to set up Attendance Group and Flexible Working Hours?

701ClientSQL is capable with weekly / monthly setting of attendance duty, the default value is weekly table (Figure 1). It is also available to transfer to monthly table manually (Figure 2), the operator could directly set the work hours of each staff that has different on/off duty time each date.

It is required to set up duty group in user card data (Figure 3), this parameter setting will be synchronized automatically after updating card data to the controller.

STEP1. Select  C. Attendance Edit

STEP2. Assigned the specified attendance group, the default group is Duty_00

STEP3. Set the duty time of group and flexible working hours.

*It is available to divide workday and holiday by D. Holiday Edit, please refer to  Paragraph 2.4 – 701ClientSQL Manual.

Question 2. How Flexible Working Hours and Overtime Situation work in actually?

701ClientSQL will do adjustment of duty time following the flexible hours, please refer to the example below:

Question:

User 00001 Andy had been assigned with duty group of “Sales” and having flexible hours of 01:30. How does the system calculate working hours when Andy presenting card at 09:20 and 19:30 on Monday?

Answer:

Firstly, Andy start working at 09:20, the time of 1 hour and 20 minutes is less than the flexible hours of 01:30, therefore, Andy will not be regarded as late.

In addition, the time of off duty will be postponed to 18:20.

*Andy will be regarded as “Early” if he left at 18:10 in this question.

Overtime is calculated independently and is not related to flexible hours. Therefore, overtime is still 01:30 in total (clock-out time 19:30 minus overtime start time 18:00 equals 01:30).

( Flexible Working Hours 01:30 )

Normal Duty Table:

On DutyBreak OutBreak RTNOff Duty Over Time
08:0012:0013:0017:0018:00

Start working before late, ex. Andy presenting card at 09:20:

On DutyBreak OutBreak RTNOff DutyOver Time
08:00 > 09:2012:00 > 12:0013:00 > 13:0017:00 > 18:2018:00
